Fees, Taxes & Delivery Charges
- Processing payment fees on top of meal prices. All payments for meals can be made via bank transfer and a operating network payment facility if available. Please note that processing charges fees for payment facility incurs fees on top of your meal total. For example, when receiving payments through our payment provider links or QR code, the platform typically charges around 2.6% + 1.00 AED per transaction, with an additional 1.5% fee for international cards or non-AED currency payments. These fees are in additional to the meal prices and will be reflected in the total amount due at checkout. All such fees are subjected to 5% VAT applied on the fee amount in line with UAE regulations.
- Delivery charges are based on the quantity of meals ordered and the delivery location. Orders of over 1,001 meals qualify for free delivery, supporting greater community reach and impact. Orders of under 500 meals incur a delivery charge of AED 50, while orders of 500 meals and above incur a delivery charge of AED 100. Delivery charges will be clearly displayed at checkout once the order quantity and delivery location are confirmed and are final based on logistics at the time of ordering.
- VAT and statutory taxes. All meal prices, delivery charges, and applicable payment processing fees are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT) and any other taxes required under UAE law. VAT is calculated and added to fees and charges where legally required and will be clearly shown on the invoice or receipt. Ensure you review the final total before confirming your payment.
